A new building branded as First Street West is quietly being built by Marcon construction and developed by Fairborne Homes in Lower Lonsdale located at 117 to 135 W 1st Street. The development will be a woodframe mixed use building that will include 60 condominium homes. Estimated completion is October 2016. The building includes a heritage component in which the developer will keep a portion of the old brick building that was constructed in 1926.
